Testimonianza: meglio l'homeschooling di un anticipo scolastico

Un anticipo scolastico di due anni è davvero troppo, sono già daccordo.
In Italia non è legalmente possibile, e per fortuna: come si fa a mettere un bambino di 5 con bambini di 7-7,5? Lo si manda a soffrire, è sostanzialmente un bene che non si possa più fare.

I am a strong believer in homeschooling for kids who do not fit into regular school settings. Homeschooling removes the pressure to be something which you are not .. which acceleration in a regular setting can exacerbate. Despite my depression, I finished school at sixteen as the top student in our final year, and went on to receive a Masters degree in law, cum laude. My feeling now, about all of this, is "so what"? Life holds so much more. One more year at school would probably have done me a load of good. I now live in Mozambique, among a large number of people who have not finished school because of poverty, and yet are well-grounded, successful and happy human beings with strong family values. Getting through grades, or acquiring degrees, is not the be all and end all of life. And faster is not always better.
